1. The Great Invasion

Batton down the hatches! here comes the invasion! The world’s only fully-rigged pirate ship, the Jose Gasparilla, will set sail from the south end of Hillsborough Bay. Stand by and watch the Pirate ship begin its invasion of the city!

Watch as a parade of over 1000 boats sails alongside the Pirate ship!

Once Jose Gasparilla has touched land (Tampa Convention Center) watch as our Mayor hands over the key to the city!

2. Float down Bayshore

• What: Gasparilla Parade

• When: Jan. 28th 2:00 pm

• Where: Bayshore Boulevard

• Price: Free

• Intended audience: Fun for all ages

This is what everyone was waiting for! One of the most famous events in the City! The parade is the source of partying for every age from children to adults! Walk up and down Bayshore to see all the events, parties, food stands and activities going on along the street!

As the parade starts witness all of the beautiful floats ride down the street! if you're lucky enough you may catch some cool beads that they throw off the floats!

A Gasparilla brunch classic! located off of South Howard, this is a Gasparilla classic for the brunch. They do not take reservations, get there early it is worth the wait!
